O. Alton Barron BS, MD

Dr. Barron is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at the Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York; a Senior Attending in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery, Director of Research and an Education Committee Member at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center in New York; an Attending Hand Surgeon at the CV Starr Hand Surgery Center; and a Post University Trustee.

Dr. Barron has held fellowships at Roosevelt Hospital in New York, Columbia-Presbyterian Hospital in New York, and Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans where he earned his medical degree. He also holds a B.S. in Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin. He currently is licensed to practice Medicine and Surgery in the state of New York and is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery.
