Dr. Nyasha K. George, MD, FAAFP, AAHIVS, is a board-certified Family Medicine physician and Assistant Professor at Thomas Jefferson University in the Department of Family and Community Medicine, practicing in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Dr. George earned her medical degree from Yale University School of Medicine, graduating in 2013, and completed her residency in Family Medicine at Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals. She also completed advanced training through the Jefferson Primary Care/Family Medicine fellowship program. Her clinical practice includes managing acute and chronic illnesses, preventive care, and conditions such as low blood pressure, chronic pain, opioid use disorder, and type 2 diabetes.
