Nuriya Robinson, MD is a board-certified Obstetrician/Gynecologist with a passion for global women’s health. She completed an OB/GYN residency at the University of California, San Francisco with subsequent fellowship training in Global Women’s Health at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC). Dr. Robinson joined the Department of OB/GYN at UIC as an Assistant Professor following fellowship and remained in that role until recently relocating to Los Angeles, California. She currently serves as faculty in the Department of OB/GYN at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center.

Over the last 10 years, Dr. Robinson has worked both clinically and in research capacities throughout sub-Saharan Africa, during which time she has cultivated a particular interest in reducing maternal morbidity and mortality through the reduction of postpartum hemorrhage and through increasing uptake of long-acting methods of contraception. Most recently, she completed a K-award through the National Institutes of Health to pursue interdisciplinary women’s health research.
