Nuno Reis MSc, PhD

Dr. Nuno Reis and Ana Barbosa have participated in the European Biotechnology Conference 2013 held in Bratislava, Slovakia between 16 and 18th May 2013. Dr Reis, a Lecturer at the department of Chemical Engineering, has delivered an oral presentation entitled "Advanced protein separations and multiplex molecular diagnostics using a disposable high-throughput;microcapillary film", which has been recognised with a "Mariapia Viola Magni" award for best oral presentations in the conference. Ana Barbosa, a 2nd year PhD student in Chemical Engineering, presented a poster entitled "Application of a disposable multiplex ;microfluidic device to rapid biomolecule quantitation", and has been awarded best poster presentation.
