Nuno Raposo, ProfDoc, ECCP, who earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Cardiopulmonary Science by the Lisbon Higher School of Health Technology in 1988, started cardiovascular perfusion training in 1989. European Cardiovascular Perfusion Board certification in 1996 (the first year where this certification was made available). Professional Doctorate (Cardiopulmonary Science) by the Medical School of Porto, Portugal, in 2011. Professional experience in Portugal, Germany and the United Arab Emirates to where has moved in 2014 to work at its present job at the Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi. Broad experience in cardiopulmonary bypass procedures both pediatric and adult. Special interest in Extracorporeal Life Support, Mechanical Circulatory Support, Clinical Research, and Evidence-Based Practice. Also skilled in medical databases and data mining.
