Nova Lee Szoka MD, FACS, FASMBS

Nova Szoka, MD earned her medical degree from UC Davis School of Medicine, completed a residency in general surgery at the University of New Mexico, and a fellowship in advanced minimally invasive/bariatric surgery at Duke University. Currently, she is faculty at West Virginia University in Morgantown, WV. Dr. Szoka performs metabolic and weight-loss surgery using the latest minimally invasive techniques in laparoscopy, robotics, and endoscopy to provide the highest level of surgical care. Her research interests include obesity & bariatric outcomes, surgical innovation, and healthcare disparities.
