Norma J. Ferdinand DSc, MSN, RN

Ms. Ferdinand was appointed Senior Vice President in 1999 and has been the Chief Quality Officer since 2006, providing leadership of the health system’s extensive quality efforts. Prior to her current appointment, Ms. Ferdinand served at the Senior Vice President of Operations and Chief Nursing Officer for Lancaster General Hospital since 1999 and has held various positions including Vice President of Patient Care Services and Director of Care Management and Cardiothoracic Surgery. With a master’s degree in nursing from the University of Pennsylvania, Ms. Ferdinand is currently completing her dissertation in the Doctoral of Science in Administration-Health Services Program at the University of Alabama, Birmingham.
