Nordstrom Joseph Thomas MD

Thomas Joseph Nordstrom, M.D., has expertise in general orthopedic care for children, adolescents, and adults. His expertise includes hand, foot, and ankle injuries as well as carpal tunnel syndrome, trigger fingers, and bunions. Dr. Nordstrom also specializes in arthroscopic and reconstructive knee replacement and hip replacement.

Before the Center for Orthopedic Care joined Summit Medical Group, Dr. Nordstrom, practiced privately with the Center for Orthopedic Care in Bridgewater, New Jersey. He has been Chief of the Somerset Medical Center Division of Orthopedics, a staff physician for Somerset Medical Center, and a member of the Somerset Medical Center Managed Care Directions Committee. Dr. Nordstrom also has been a clinical instructor for the Somerset Medical Center Family Practice Residency Program.

Dr. Nordstrom is Team Physician for Bridgewater High School. He has been Varsity Football Team Physician for Somerville High School, New Jersey Stars Team Tennis, and the US Olympic Training Center. He has been a sports consultant for Somerville Immaculata High School and a volunteer physician for the Special Olympics and Tour of Somerville Bicycle Races.
