Niranjan Goud PhD

Niranjan has about 20 years’ experience in the industry in the field of toxicology and biocompatibility of medical devices. Worked on a wide range of medical devices covering almost every tissue/organ in the body including combination products coated with drugs and antimicrobials. Published about 25 research papers in peer-reviewed journals and two book chapters covering endotoxin-pyrogens in medical devices, biocompatibility, genetic toxicology, immunotoxicology, radiation biology and ageing etc. He is an active member in ISO 10993 committees and conducted continuing education courses and workshops on the safety of medical devices at Society of Toxicology. Niranjan has experience dealing with the FDA, notified bodies in Europe and governmental agencies in APAC countries in obtaining regulatory approval of medical devices. Before his career in the industry, Niranjan worked as a professor in academia for more than 20 years in biological sciences.
