As the lead of the IMTAC Drug Discovery Platform at BridGene Biosciences, Inc., Dr. Deng brings nearly 20 years of invaluable experience in life sciences research and drug development. Her expertise spans proteomics and cellular signaling pathways, with a particular focus on cancer and hereditary neurological disorders. Dr. Deng's research has yielded nine international publications and five granted patents.

She earned her Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and further honed her skills during her postdoctoral training and as a Senior Scientist at the Stanford University School of Medicine. At Stanford, Dr. Deng was pivotal in developing drug screening models for hereditary neurodegenerative diseases. She was responsible for the full lifecycle of high-throughput small molecule screening projects—from design to functional validation—and played a significant role in IND application submissions. She is highly adept at the strategic design and execution of both high-throughput screening and proteomics studies.
