Mrs. Dr. Wunderlich first went through classic general internal medicine training. The Ketteler Hospital in Offenbach and the St. Josefs-Hospital in Rüdesheim were the first training stations, followed by a well-founded cardiological further training in the Frankfurt/Höchst Clinic as a center of maximum care.

dr medical N. Wunderlich (employed doctor) After several years as a senior physician, she then moved to the Cardiovascular Center Frankfurt (CVC, Prof. H. Sievert) and gained a worldwide reputation as a pioneer and specialist for 3D echocardiography and interventional imaging in many innovative interventions that were carried out for the first time in Germany. Since then, she has also established herself as a speaker at international cardiology congresses and as the author of numerous specialist articles and book chapters on interventional cardiology. She is also in demand as a consultant for the development and clinical introduction of new catheter-based procedures at medical technology companies.

In 2012, Dr. Wunderlich started working at the Cardiovascular Center in Darmstadt, which then enabled the establishment and professional routine implementation of modern catheter procedures here. These include in particular the interventional atrial appendage occlusion and occlusions of congenital defects of the atrial septum. A special feature of our center is the formation of a well-rehearsed team with Dr. H. Küx as well as the 3-D echo support of every demanding procedure, which achieves optimal results and minimal complication rates for the patients. Dr. Wunderlich made her extensive experience available to her patients there in the clinical-cardiological outpatient clinic.
