Dr. Nina L. Alfieri is a board-certified Pediatrician with a specialization in medical education and health services research, and a passion for improving infant and child health through clinical care, research, education, and advocacy. Her main clinical interests center around infant care (development, feeding, safety), vaccination, providing care for children with medical complexity and mental health concerns, medical education, and health care equity and access.
Dr. Alfieri serves as Associate Program Director for the Lurie Children's Pediatric Residency Program. She is also the Continuity Clinic Director/Medical Director at Lurie Children's Pediatrics at Uptown and Deming, and she co-directs the Lurie Children's Primary Care Certificate Program. She is the co-host of the official Lurie Children's community-facing Podcast entitled “Kids Wellness Matters.”
