Nima Hejazi PhD

Nima Hejazi is an Assistant Professor of Biostatistics at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. His research focuses on statistical causal inference, including semi-parametric estimation, causal machine learning, and assumption-lean or non-parametric inference, alongside broader work in statistical machine learning. His methodological research is driven by real-world scientific problems, with applications spanning infectious disease epidemiology, chronic disease research, and cancer science.

In addition to his primary research agenda, he works on high-performance numerical computing and the development of open-source software tools for the statistical sciences. Through this, he aims to advance methodological innovation while promoting reproducibility and transparency in applied statistics and data science.
