Nima Akhavein PhD, MBA

Nima Akhavein is a Scientific Leader and Associate Fellow at GSK, where he currently leads an early phase group toward the design and application of long-acting injection technologies in support of the HIV franchise. Prior to his current role, Nima has also worked as a CMC leader and helped develop and implement new drug delivery strategies across the R&D portfolio by building internal capability and cultivating valuable research collaborations to leverage technologies developed externally. Nima joined GSK 4 years ago and previously worked as a Postdoc and Research Scientist at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and Eli Lilly.
