Niki Karavitaki is Clinical Associate Professor in Endocrinology and Honorary Consultant Endocrinologist at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham where she co-leads the Pituitary Service and Pituitary MDT. Her research and clinical interests focus on hypothalamic-pituitary disease (particularly sellar and parasellar tumors and hypopituitarism) covering pathogenesis, management, and long-term outcomes and expanding to the identification of biomarkers of diagnostic and prognostic significance with “omics” techniques. She has extensively published in her field and is a sought-after lecturer in national and international meetings.
