Nicole Seminara MD, FAAD

Nicole M Seminara, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Dermatology at the NYU Langone Medical Center and School of Medicine in Manhattan, NY. She is the Content Director and lead instructor for the dermatology basic science curriculum at NYU School of Medicine. She received her medical degree from The University of Pennsylvania, completed her internship in Internal Medicine at NYU, and completed her residency in Dermatology at Stanford University in Palo Alto. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. She completed a psoriasis research fellowship at The University of Pennsylvania where her research focused on comorbidities in psoriasis.

Dr. Seminara has authored numerous peer-reviewed articles that have been published in journals such as the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology (JAAD), British Journal of Dermatology (BJD), and Archives of Dermatology. She is a regular speaker at the Advances in Dermatology annual academic meetings as well as the American Academy of Dermatology academic meetings. She is a recurring guest on Sirius XM Doctor Radio. In 2018, she received the "Teacher of the Year" Award from the Department of Dermatology at NYU.
