Prof. Maass is concerned with molecular characterization and molecular therapies of gynecological tumors, with expression and functional analyzes in mammary and ovarian carcinomas as well as with in vitro and in vivo examination of molecular prevention tests.
Prof. Maass focuses on minimally invasive surgery (including robot surgery) in malignant and benign gynecological diseases. The focus will be on breast cancer (including family breast and ovarian cancer, reconstructive mammary surgery, system therapy). A special concern is the individual and family-oriented obstetrics.
