Nicki Vithalani MD, FAAFP

Nicki Vithalani, M.D. is a board-certified Palliative Medicine Physician at the Geisinger Lewistown Hospital. Dr. Vithalani completed medical school at King's College London, United Kingdom. She completed her family medicine residency at the Penn State Health Family Medicine Residency Program at Mount Nittany Medical Center where she served as chief resident. She was honored with the American Academy of Family Physicians Leadership in Graduate Medical Education award and is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.

Prior to joining Geisinger, Dr. Vithalani worked for the National Health Service at Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge, United Kingdom. She returned to America and pursued fellowship training in one of the country's leading palliative care programs at Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center in California. She is a professional member of the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine and the American Academy of Family Physicians.
