Nick Waggett BA, MA

Dr Nick Waggett is the Chief Executive of the Association of Child Psychotherapists which is the professional body for Child and Adolescent Psychoanalytic Psychotherapists (CAPPTs) in the UK. The ACP is celebrating its 70th anniversary in 2019 and has over 900 members working in the UK, the majority in the NHS. Nick was previously a manager in the NHS and Director of the Northern School of Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy in Leeds. He trained as an organisation consultant at the Tavistock Clinic and completed a Professional Doctorate in Consultation and the Organisation with a thesis looking at the impact of information technology on the primary task of human service organisations.
