Dr Nick Ryan has been employed as an emergency physician since 1995 and has been the director of ED at Tamworth since 1998. He is a conjoint senior lecturer at the Newcastle University Department of Rural Health, Tamworth. Nick has a keen interest in clinical education and is a past winner of the Dr Geoff Marel Award for Teaching Excellence from the Postgraduate Medical Council of NSW. His other interests include point of care ultrasound, toxinology, and rugby union.
