Dr. Nick is Emeritus Professor of Alcohol and Other Drug Studies within the Department of Psychology. He has received BA, MSc, PhD, CPsychol, FBPsS Degrees.
His research interests are specialist treatment of alcohol dependence and was the Principal Investigator (Research Co-ordination) for the largest randomised controlled trial of such treatment so far conducted in the UK (the UK Alcohol Treatment Trial: UKATT).
He is actively engaged in research and writing but has no teaching responsibilities.
