Nick Fletcher

Nick Fletcher has been a consultant and lecturer in anesthesia and critical care at St Georges University Hospital in London for 17 years. Appointed Institute Chair for Anaesthesia and Critical Care at the Cleveland Clinic London in 2019. He is a past president of the Association for Cardiothoracic Anaesthesia and Critical Care in the UK and an editor of the British Journal of Anaesthesia Education and Echocardiography Research and Practice.

He is a current member of the EACTA and ESICM echocardiography committees and has helped at the inception of the ESICM EDEC accreditation. Nick has published over 80 peers reviewed articles and chapters and has been invited to lecture at ACTACC, EACTA, ESA, SCA, ESICM, IACTA conferences amongst others. He is recognised for his national and international leadership in cardiothoracic anesthesia and critical care, clinical quality, echocardiography, research, and education.
