Nicholas Slack MBE

Mr. Nicholas C. Slack, MBE, is the Chief Growth Officer of ePharmaSolutions, a WIRB-Copernicus Group Company. In this role, he is responsible for developing and growing ePS and WCG’s relationships with the industry’s leading sponsors, contract research organizations (CROs), and institutions. Mr. Slack works with partner-clients to design and implement solutions that accelerate the activation of clinical trials, eliminate duplication of effort in research, and promote the highest standards of safety for research subjects, both within ePS and WCG’s client organizations and throughout the industry.

During his career, Mr. Slack has provided guidance to more than 150 universities and hospitals, and sponsors and CROs. He was previously the director of consulting services for HRP Consulting Group and the associate director of accreditation for the Association for the Accreditation of Human Research Protection Programs (AAHRPP). He also served in a senior regulatory affairs capacity with Schulman Associates IRB.

Mr. Slack serves on committees such as Bioethics International’s World Council on Ethical Standards, and contributes to the Multi-Regional Clinical Trials Center at Harvard. He is a regular speaker at industry conferences organized by Public Responsibility in Medicine and Research (PRIM&R), Model Agreements & Guidelines International (MAGI), and the Drug Information Association (DIA).
