Nicholas Raymond Castle PhD, MSc, DIMC RCS

Dr. Nick is the Head of professions for Hamad Medical Corporation Ambulance Service which serves the population of Qatar and deals with between 850-1100 ambulance contacts per day. Dr. Nick is the lead Critical Care Paramedic and he has over 35 years in hospital and pre-hospital clinical experience. Dr. Nick holds two academic appointments and has over 100 peers reviewed publications. Dr. Nick has a particular interest in resuscitation, major incident management, emergency cardiology, and mass gathering medicine. Dr. Nick holds an MSc in Cardiology from the University of Sussex and his Ph.D. (which looked at the management of patients following exposure to a CBRN agent) was awarded by City University (London).
