Nicholas Kontos MD

Nicholas Kontos has 24 years of experience in the practice of adult psychiatry, and 20 years of subspecialization in psychosomatic medicine/consultation-liaison psychiatry. He has served as associate director of consultation-liaison psychiatry at Cambridge Health Alliance, associate director of the Psychosomatic Medicine Fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital, and director of Transplantation Psychiatry at Massachusetts General Hospital.

He is currently working full-time at Massachusetts General Hospital as Fellowship Director in Psychosomatic Medicine and as an attending on the MGH consultation and transplantation psychiatry services.

He has developed and administered neuropsychiatry/neuroanatomy seminars at Massachusetts General Hospital and Cambridge Health Alliance Psychiatry Residency Programs.
