Biography :
Dr. Nicholas Embleton qualified in medicine from Newcastle University in 1990, completing higher specialist training in neonatal medicine in the northeast, and included a higher degree (MD) and a perinatal-neonatal fellowship in Vancouver, Canada. He was appointed as a consultant at the RVI in 2003. He has a broad research portfolio focused on nutrition and growth, but that also includes studies examining the quality of life, and parental perspectives on palliative care.
