Nicholas Glenn Cost MD

Dr. Nicholas Glenn Cost, MD currently serves as an Associate Professor at Children's Hospital Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. He was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery, Division of Urology at the University of Colorado - School of Medicine, concentrating his clinical and research efforts in the areas of Urologic Oncology and Pediatric Urology.  Within this realm, he focuses on testicular cancer and kidney cancer, specifically in the pediatric, adolescent, and young adult populations and those with hereditary renal malignancy syndromes.  Nick’s dedication to the Adolescent and Young Adult (AYA) Oncology population derives largely from his own personal experience as a cancer patient as a young adult. This commitment is thus personal and professional. 

Nick did his undergraduate training at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN, and then went on to Emory University in Atlanta, GA for Medical School and subsequently did a urology residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX.  Following this, he stayed in Dallas and completed fellowship training in Urologic Oncology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center.  Next, he moved on to Cincinnati, OH for a Pediatric Urology fellowship at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. Nick began his first faculty appointment in the fall of 2013 at the University of Colorado School of Medicine and practices between the University of Colorado Cancer Center and the Children’s Hospital Colorado, both of which are on the Anschutz Medical Campus of the University of Colorado-Denver.
