Nicholas Brown PhD

Dr. Brown received his PhD from the Department of Immunology and Microbiology at Wayne State University, where he studied the role of class II MHC molecules and regulatory T cells in a mouse model of thyroiditis. He then studied co-inhibitory molecules as a postdoctoral fellow under the supervision of Dr. Yang-Xin Fu at the University of Chicago. After studying the inflammatory response to influenza and bacterial pneumonia during a postdoctoral fellowship with Dr. Yang Liu at the University of Michigan, Dr. Brown returned to the University of Chicago for his clinical fellowship in transplant immunology and Immunogenetics, completed under the supervision of Dr. Susana Marino.
