Nicholas B. Vedder MD, FACS

Dr. Nicholas Vedder, M.D., F.A.C.S., is a board-certified surgeon at Harborview and UWMC-Roosevelt, UW Medicine’s chief of Plastic Surgery, vice-chair of Surgery, and a UW professor of Surgery, Plastic Surgery, and Orthopedics and Sports Medicine. He has been a Seattle Magazine and Seattle Metropolitan Magazine Top Doc since 2010. Dr. Vedder is an expert in hand surgery, reconstructive plastic surgery, and reconstructive microsurgery. He strives to care for each patient as he would want to care for himself and is respectful of individual backgrounds and wishes. Dr. Vedder earned his M.D. from Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland. He is board-certified in Surgery, Plastic Surgery, and Hand Surgery. He is past chair of the American Board of Plastic Surgery and past president of the American Association for Hand Surgery.
