Ng Heng Joo MBBS, M Med, MRCP, FAMS, FRCPath, Adj Associate Professor

Dr. Ng Heng Joo received his early medical training at the National University of Singapore and then served in Malaysia before qualifying as an internal medicine specialist. He then joined the Department for his advanced specialty training in hematology before pursuing subspecialty training in coagulation, a branch of hematology dealing with blood clotting and bleeding disorders.

He is currently a senior consultant in the department with a special interest in thrombotic and bleeding disorders.

His research activities cover clinical aspects of managing these patients and laboratory diagnostics for coagulation disorders. Dr. Ng is also the Director of the Singhealth Haematology Senior Residency Training Program.
