Nestor Gahungu MD, MPhil

Dr. Gahungu is a Cardiology Advanced Trainee with WA Health. He has an interest in cardiovascular research and has previously completed a Master of Philosophy (Cardiology) at the University of Notre Dame Australia, investigating the utility of an artificial intelligence system for early detection of atrial fibrillation among patients with obstructive sleep apnoea. He also has an interest in CT coronary angiography as a risk stratification tool for coronary artery disease.
