He worked as a Chest Diseases Specialist at the Ministry of Health Okmeydanı Training and Research Hospital.
After being appointed as an Assistant Professor to the Department, he successfully passed the USMLE Step1, Step2, and Step3 exams, which are the Medical exams of the United States, and the TOEFL exam in English, and became a Research Assistant at Harvard Medical School Sleep Clinic, President of the American Thoracic Society. In 2015, he passed the European Board of Chest Diseases examination in the Netherlands and was entitled to receive the “European Diploma in Respiratory Medicine”. He passed the Turkish Chest Diseases Board exam in 2016. In 2017, he successfully passed the associate professorship exam and received the title of Associate Professor of Chest Diseases. He is still working as the Chief Physician at Namık Kemal University Medical Faculty Hospital.
