during which he was working as an EMT. He then Interned at Saskatoon City Hospital and did his Anesthesia Residency at the University of Alberta. Dr. Klassen followed this with a Fellowship in Trauma and Burn Anesthesia at the University of Washington- Harborview Medical Center. Since then he has practiced short term at Foothills Medical Centre in Calgary, then 3 years at UAH, and since then at RAH with a one year break at Kelowna General Hospital. During this time he had an interest in Airway Management and joined Airway Management Education Center ( The Difficult Airway Course) as a faculty member in 2013.
