Dr. Hunter is a professor in the Department of Microbiology & Molecular Genetics in the College of Biological Sciences at the University of California, Davis. He holds secondary appointments in the Departments of Molecular & Cellular Biology (College of Biological Sciences) and Cell Biology and Human Anatomy (School of Medicine) and is a member of the UC Davis Comprehensive Cancer Center. Dr. Hunter was an HHMI early career scientist from 2009 to 2013.
