Neil Cartwright MA, MBBS, PhD, MBA, FRCSEd, FETCS

Mr. Neil Cartwright is a consultant cardiothoracic surgeon at the Northern General Hospital, Sheffield. His sub-specialist area of interest is mitral valve surgery. He undertook undergraduate studies at King’s College, Cambridge, and Guys and St. Thomas’ hospitals in London. He trained in cardiac surgery at Papworth Hospital and hospitals around the Yorkshire deanery. He joined the BHVS Council as a representative for the Society of Cardiothoracic Surgeons (SCTS) in 2016.
