Neil Berrington MBBCh, MMed, FRCS, FCS(SA)

Dr. Neil Berrington joined the Department of Surgery, Section of Neurosurgery in October 2001 as Assistant Professor. He completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery at the University of Witwatersrand in South Africa and then went on to obtain a Masters in Medicine in Neurosurgery at the University of Pretoria. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons (Glasgow) and a Fellow of the College of Surgeons (South Africa) since 1994. In 2004, Dr. Berrington completed a Spine Surgery Fellowship at the University of Manitoba. Dr. Berrington is currently focusing his clinical practice on complex spine surgery, minimal access spine surgery and pain management.
