Neeru Madan is a licensed clinical psychologist in Davis, CA providing psychotherapy and psychological testing services to children, adolescents, and adults. She received her doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from Long Island University in New York. As a part of her doctoral training, she worked in a variety of clinical settings in New York City as well as Northern California including community mental health clinics, student health counseling centers, and outpatient child psychiatry clinics. She completed her pre-doctoral internship at Sutter Center for Psychiatry in Sacramento, CA where she worked with individuals presenting with acute psychological distress and crisis in inpatient psychiatry units as well as partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient settings. Subsequently, she completed her post-doctoral fellowship at Integrated Pain Management in Fairfield, CA providing outpatient services to individuals with a history of chronic pain and trauma.
Prior to earning her doctorate, she completed an MPhil (Master of Philosophy) degree in Clinical Psychology from the Institute of Human Behavior and Allied Sciences in New Delhi, India, and became a registered clinical psychologist in India in 2009.
