Neena Valecha MD

Dr. Neena Valecha is the Director of ICMR - National Institute of Malaria Research, one of the first research institutes in India dedicated to malaria research. She provides strategic support to the National Program for the Control of Vector-borne Diseases on various aspects of malaria control policy and also offers scientific and technical advice in the planning, design, implementation, and management of research projects. Dr. Valecha's research topics include antimalarial drug resistance, clinical development of antimalarials, pharmacovigilance of antimalarials, improved diagnosis of malaria, and operational research.
