Nebojsa V. Skrepnik MD, PhD

Dr. Skrepnik has been the Director of Research at Tucson Orthopaedic Institute Research Center since 2002. Our Research Department conducted over one hundred clinical research studies with all major pharmaceutical and device companies under his guidance. He has extensive experience in Basic and Clinical Research. Dr Skrepnik obtained his M.D. degree from University of Belgrade Medical School in Belgrade. He worked at LSU Health Science Center Departments of Physiology, Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and the Stanley S. Scott Cancer Center, New Orleans, LA. During that time, he has produced twenty-five scientific publications in journals such as American Journal of Physiology, Clinical Cancer Research, Cancer, The Journal of Urology, European Journal of Cancer, Cancer Research, Academic Radiology, Journal of Leukocyte Biology, Hepatology, Shock, and others. He finished his four-year combined Residency program in Internal Medicine and Clinical Research at LSU-Medical School in New Orleans with support from Stanley S. Scott Cancer center, New Orleans, LA. He received his Masters Degree and PhD in the field of Clinical pharmacology from the University of Belgrade School of Medicine, Belgrade, Yugoslavia, based on his work done at LSU Medical School.
