Neal H. Cohen, MD, MPH, MS, is a Professor of anesthesia and medicine and Vice Dean for the UCSF School of Medicine. He is a Fellow of the American College of Critical Care Medicine and the American College of Chest Physicians. He was elected by the ECHD Board to the El Camino Hospital Board of Directors in 2012 for a two-year term and was re-elected for a second term of three years, expiring in June 2017. He currently serves as the Chair of the El Camino Hospital Board. He is also the Chair of the UCSF Risk Management and Clinical Enterprise Compliance Committees. Dr. Cohen attended medical school at the University of California, San Francisco. He completed an anesthesia residency and critical care medicine and cardiothoracic anesthesia fellowships at UCSF. He received a master’s degree in public health from the University of California, Berkeley, and a master’s degree in management from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
