Nausheen Akhter MD, FACC, FASE

Dr. Nausheen Akhter is an Associate Professor of Medicine at the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and Director of Cardio-Oncology at the Northwestern Medicine. She received a medical degree from the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. She is board certified in Cardiovascular Diseases, Internal Medicine, Adult Echocardiography and Perioperative Echocardiography. She has both clinical and research interests in Cardiac-Oncology, to provide comprehensive cardiovascular care to every cancer patient. Her general interests also include cardiac imaging, valvular heart disease, and heart disease in women.
