Nathan Silberman PhD

Nathan Silberman is the Lead Deep Learning Scientist at Butterfly Network. He received his PhD in computer science at NYU in 2015 and focused on computer vision and machine learning. Following graduation, he worked at Google Research where he contributed to the TensorFlow API, conducted research in monocular depth estimation and domain adaptation techniques and contributed to Google’s medical machine learning efforts. He is currently leading the development of a suite of deep learning algorithms for the Butterfly iQ that will help novice users both acquire diagnostic images and automatically and reliably interpret them.
