Nathan Loren Liang MD, MS

Dr. Nathan Liang joined UPMC in 2018 as a vascular surgeon and assistant professor of surgery. He received his medical degree from Texas A&M University College of Medicine. Dr. Liang then completed an integrated vascular surgery residency at UPMC, while also completing a master's degree in clinical research from the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Liang's clinical emphasis includes all aspects of vascular and endovascular surgery with special focus on open and endovascular repair of aortic aneurysms and dissection, and interventional treatment of pulmonary embolism. He is a member of the American College of Surgeons, the Society for Vascular Surgery, the Society for Clinical Vascular Surgery, the American Venous Forum, and the Eastern Vascular Society. Dr. Liang sees patients at UPMC East, UPMC Shadyside, and the VA Medical Center.
