Natalia Spierings MD

She completed her medical training in 2008 at St. George’s, University of London and stayed in the southwest London area for foundation training and core medical training, before securing a very competitive dermatology training number at her alma mater.

Dr. Spierings has an unrivalled passion and enthusiasm for teaching. She completed the Postgraduate Certificate in Healthcare and Biomedical Education at St. George’s during her early registrar years in order to give herself a solid foundation in teaching theory.

Having seen first hand the lack of dermatology education courses available for GPs, GP trainees, junior doctors and medical students, she created DermEd to fill the gap.Dr. Spierings abhors boring lectures with wordy slides and endeavours to ensure that her students are always engaged and learning during her teaching.
