Dr. Nastassja Lewinski's research focuses on bridging the gulf between the rapidly increasing number of complex nanostructures and our understanding of the toxicity and biodistribution of these nanostructures by developing new techniques to detect, measure, control, and predict their pharmacokinetics. Dr. Nastassja Lewinski is an early-stage investigator and has over 10 years of experience with the synthesis, characterization, and toxicological assessment of metal-based nanoparticles. My broad training allows me to take a big picture approach to nanotoxicology, and not only identify areas for interdisciplinary research but also effectively communicate between my engineering, chemistry, and biology collaborators.
