Dr. Narendra B. Vadlamudi, MD, DCH, MRCPCH, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pediatrics, Division of Gastroenterology and Nutrition at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) School of Medicine and practices pediatric gastroenterology at the Children’s Hospital of Richmond at VCU. He is board-certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Gastroenterology, with additional training and professional designations including DCH (Diploma in Child Health) and MRCPCH (Member of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health).
Before his current academic and clinical roles, Dr. Vadlamudi completed his postgraduate training in Pediatrics at the Cleveland Clinic and advanced fellowship training in Pediatric Gastroenterology at Children’s of Alabama at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Dr. Vadlamudi earned his MBBS from Osmania Medical College in India. His clinical expertise and specialization include pediatric gastroenterology and nutrition, with particular focus on inflammatory bowel disease (including Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis), eosinophilic esophagitis, and liver disorders.
He is actively involved in multidisciplinary clinical care, including leadership of specialized clinics such as the Eosinophilic Esophagitis Clinic and the Inflammatory Bowel Disease Team, and participates in professional committees, including the American Academy of Pediatrics, North American Society for Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition (NASPGHAN), and the American College of Gastroenterology.
