Narasimhan Raghupati MBBS, DTCD, MD

Dr. Narasimhan R is one of the best pulmonologists in Chennai with more than three decades of experience in his field. He specializes in the treatment of bronchitis, lower/upper respiratory tract infections, and halitosis. His special areas of interest are Transbronchoscopic Cryo Biopsy of the lung, Endobronchial Ultrasound, and Bronchial Thermoplasty.

He has performed more than 11000 diagnostic Bronchoscopies (the highest in South India) and the highest number of Pleuroscopies in India. He was the Editor in Chief of the Indian Journal of Bronchology (2003- 2006) and President of the Indian Association for Bronchology (2012-2013). The doctor has won many awards including the Best Teacher Award and Vocational Excellence Award from the Rotary Club of Madras North West for the highest number of diagnostic bronchoscopies in South India.

Dr. Narasimhan is a faculty for many national and international conferences and has delivered more than 500 lectures on various pulmonary diseases. He is a regular writer in Health Watch section in The Hindu, a well-known national daily Academic Honors.
