Naomi L. Ruff PhD, ELS

Naomi Ruff, Ph.D., ELS, president of RuffDraft Communications LLC, is an experienced biomedical communicator with a strong background in both science and language. She has worked with individual researchers, nonprofits, and companies as a medical writer and editor to provide clear science-based communications, primarily for a professional audience.
RuffDraft's projects include but are not limited to writing and editing of journal articles, grant applications, book chapters, slide kits, continuing education (CME), and sales training programs. In addition, Dr. Ruff has taught communication skills to scientists and neurology to writers and medical students. She is knowledgeable about a wide variety of subject areas (and loves to learn new topics!) but has particular experience with neuroscience and neurology, infectious diseases and vaccines, oncology, and molecular biology.
