Nandan Anavekar MBBCh

Nandan S. Anavekar, M.B., B.Ch., is a Professor of Medicine, Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science, and a consultant in the Cardiovascular Department and Radiology Department at Mayo Clinic. He is the Program Director of the Adult Cardiovascular Diseases Fellowship program. He is board-certified in cardiovascular diseases and echocardiography and has completed special fellowships in echocardiography and advanced cardiac imaging.

Dr. Anavekar has special interests in cardiac CT and MRI in congenital heart disease, cardiovascular physiology with particular interest in hemodynamics, as well as postgraduate education. His main clinical interest is the management of diseases of the pericardium, diseases of the aorta, cardiac infections, as well as critical care cardiology.
