Nancy S. Goroff PhD, BA

Dr. Nancy Goroff is a Professor of Chemistry at Stony Brook University, where her lab studies carbon rich molecules and materials. Last year, her published work in the journal CrystEngComm was ranked as one of the top 20 most downloaded articles. When she is not informing many of her scientific brethren and furthering the boundaries of knowledge with great science, she acts as a member of the steering committee for the Alan Alda Center for Communicating Science, as she has a deep passion for accessible science communication and the teaching of it. She is also Math and Art enthusiast, who in her spare time, learns about the chemistry of cooking.
